Let’s get busy

I’ve got something for you.

On March 1, I’m kicking off a month-long series to help you become the industry leader and dominant force you say you want to be.

It’s all free and it will arrive in your inbox every Monday and Thursday.

Keep an eye out for those emails. They will be chock full of powerful tools to get your mind right, truly serve with heart and create an audience of raving fans.

The tips I am going to share throughout the month are exactly what I use every day to continuously grow, scale and serve millions (and make millions too).

None of what I will talk about includes systems, tactics, schedules or cookie-cutter BS.

In fact, I don’t want you to use my strategies. The whole point is being your own boss is doing things your own way.

I’m calling this series #30daystorise – because that’s what it is: A 30-Day opportunity for you to actually walk your talk, rise up and claim the life and business you say you want.

A few things worth noting…

  • There are no small moves here.
  • Nothing I will share is optional fluff. It’s all non-negotiable if you want to lead and make an impact.
  • You may want to create a folder in your inbox just for the gems I am about to drop.

Throughout the month, I will also be talking about an opportunity for you to learn how to use these tools, walk your talk and actually rise above the rest.

Got it? I’ll see you Friday, March 1 with the first tool.

If you haven’t yet, be sure to join my private Facebook community, Tune In. Turn On., where I will be often to go in-depth with everything I’m sharing in the series.

P.S. If you know someone who you think would enjoy the series #30DaysToRise, send them here to join the email list.

Change is a Gift

Most people are uncomfortable with change.

It’s the whole lizard brain/primal instinct thing that makes us squirm when circumstances and places are new to us.

But without NEW behaviors, thoughts and actions, without changing what we belief and what we are doing, we get the same results.

This is super important for women in business.

You want more (money, clients, impact, insert other thing), then you have to do new things. You MUST change.

Case in point: A few years ago, I had the opportunity to contribute to Forbes. And I was terrified.

What if they reject me?
What if they don’t like it?
What if I screw this up and I never get the opportunity again?

All the normal fears surfaces.

But just as I teach, I did the dance with fear.

Fear, in and of itself, is a yield sign – not a stop sign.

It means to pause and look around for more information. And sometimes, it means the fear doesn’t dissipate but you choose to DO IT ANYWAY.

So I did it. I sent my handful of lines into Forbes and let it go.

And so it began.

Check out “9 Ways to Encourage Change in your Organization.”

That was my first contribution with them. I went on to write 17 articles, some solo. SEVENTEEN.

Here’s the lesson: No matter how scared you are, you won’t get what you want if you don’t MF try.

That first article I contributed says as much, too.

If you want to see the rest, go here. Over a two-year period, I wracked up the words.

What are you doing TODAY that scares you? It’s how we make progress.
