Description
River Stone with Hammered Copper Disc, Bound in Leather Cord
For the woman who’s been told to dim it down so long she forgot she was ever bright.
Underneath this leather sits a hammered copper disc – full, round, catching every bit of light it can get. The leather crosses over it in parallel lines, covering most of it, but never all of it. A small hammered medallion hangs where the cords meet, marking the exact point where what’s hidden still manages to show through.
Made for the woman who’s spent years being partially eclipsed. Who learned to let people see just enough of her to stay comfortable, while the rest stayed covered for everyone else’s benefit.
This isn’t about revealing everything at once. This is about remembering that even partial light is still light.
What you’re really buying: Proof that eclipsed doesn’t mean extinguished.
The copper and leather combination teaches:
- What’s covered isn’t gone, it’s just waiting
- Partial visibility is still visibility
- The brightest thing in the room doesn’t need to be fully seen to still be burning
- Some light gets through no matter how much sits on top of it
Hold this when:
- You’ve been making yourself smaller to keep everyone else comfortable
- You need proof that what you’ve been hiding hasn’t disappeared
- You’re tired of being seen only in the parts people find acceptable
- You’re ready to let more of your own light through
The copper doesn’t dim just because leather sits over it. It waits. It catches whatever light finds its way in. It reminds you that being covered is not the same as being gone.
Handcrafted using river stone, hammered copper disc, leather cord, and a hand-forged medallion marking the place where light insists on getting through.
Warning: May cause increased refusal to stay dimmed for other people’s comfort, decreased tolerance for playing small, and spontaneous remembering of how much light you’ve actually been carrying.
NOTE: May contain ingredients that could be poisonous to animals and/or humans. Do not ingest, keep away from human and fur babies. For external use only. Sold as a curio.
