And the winners are . . .

Yes, I’m a rule-breaker. *shocking*

I’m announcing the winner of our video contest a day early. Because I can.

So who’s going to work with me for the next three months in a private $5,500 editing and coaching program?

Well, TWO writers.

Plus everyone who submitted a video will have a shot at working with me in a special package I created only for them.

The winners are…

Jenn Scalia, life coach, relationship connoisseur and chief badass behind Awesome on Purpose™. Her entry, quite frankly, blew my mind. If I could have asked the universe to bring me any writing project with a slice of Fuck Yeah on the side, this would be it.

Rachel Johnson, a dance teacher from Billings, Montana, where she lives with her two small daughters. An eating disorder survivor, she is working on fulfilling her childhood dream of publishing her memoir and giving a voice to millions of women.

Note: She created this video an hour before the deadline, hiding in the bathroom while at a birthday party for one of her daughter’s friends.

Massive congratulations to these two ladies. We’ll be contacting you directly very soon.

In all, 26 of you stepped outside of your comfort zone and bared your guts on camera.

Twenty-six videos from all over the world.

Powerful, honest people telling the truth about why they haven’t finished their writing projects yet.

That kind of honesty deserves something. And everyone who submitted a video will receive an email today with that something inside.

Way to go, Jenn and Rachel!

Amazing! Super congrats to Rachel and Jenn! I know they’ll be mega successful as authors with your help and guidance! And Becky – that was very cool of you to expand the contest to two winners. Good luck everyone!
