This Is How
You Find Her
The Journaling Course
The Journaling Course
Most everyone knows the cliche, “The pen is mightier than the sword.” We know the impact of a well-chosen word.
We’re brought up in a culture that reveres writing, that celebrates authors, and that relies on words as one of its primary means of communication.
Yet most of us also resist the act of writing when it comes to using it for introspection.
“Writing is thinking on paper.” – William Zinsser, American author and journalist
Used effectively, writing in a journal gives you insight into your own thought processes. You begin to see more clearly how you may sabotage yourself or get lost in a tangle of thoughts and feel overwhelmed. Or you may suddenly find your inspiration again, more gasoline for the fire inside you.
Using a journal is an extraordinarily powerful process that shows you with utter clarity how your thoughts can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
Many people I’ve spoken to resist journaling because they believe it slows them down. Which is exactly the point.
Journaling forces you to slow your thinking, pull apart the threads of those thoughts and recognize — sometimes for the first time — how your beliefs do or do not support the goals and dreams you claim are most important in your life.
For most people, this is a revelation.
We tend to walk around every day unaware of what we are thinking and how those thoughts shape our mood, our perception of events, even how we treat other people. We are numb to what we are doing to ourselves, whether in support or detriment.
Journaling, with the intention of revealing and fulfilling your potential and purpose, is irreplaceable. Done effectively, it helps you become self-aware, more insightful, more open to your own wisdom.
Journaling can also rapidly increase your awareness, revealing answers you’ve long looked for but never found.
Most people believe journaling is just recounting daily events, or the random swirl of thoughts and feelings moving through them. There is some value in that. But there’s so much more that can be gained when you journal consistently, and in the way I am about to show you…
I believe all the answers we want are within us. Yes, ALL of them. But you need to know how to access them.
That’s the purpose of this program: to show you how to tap into the full power of YOU, your essence, your purpose, your real potential.
In our heads, at any given moment, hundreds or thousands of random thoughts are flying around. They are shallow and deep, unrelated and often conflicting. Whether or not we grab onto one, and which one we choose, is up to us.
But if we are not aware of how the mind works, which thought we grab onto is a random process that may or may not support our goals and dreams.
When we write out those thoughts, on the other hand, we start to separate one from another. Then we get to choose if we want to go deeper with one and explore.
We can track a thought, dig under it, behind it, follow the trail higher and higher, or skip it altogether. But until we do this, we are unable to see how our thoughts and ideas fit together.
Until we explore via a journal, everything appears random and unrelated.
Journaling allows you to discover how your thoughts were formed, when, why and what they’re trying to show you.
“Knowing others is intelligence;
knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength;
mastering yourself is true power.”
― Lao Tzu
We will never be free until we wake up to what is running our lives: Our own thoughts.
Journaling gives you that awareness. It is the beginning of true choice and true power.
Without examining your thinking, you are simply reacting to events and circumstances. You’re doing the same thing you have always done, in the same way. And you’re probably wondering why you can’t get the results you want, why nothing seems to change no mater how hard you try.
Thoughts unexamined lead to a life of sleepwalking.
Inside this program, This Is How You Find Her, the Journaling Course, I’m going to share with you ten steps to reveal to yourself what is inside you. You’ll see what you’re made of, why it matters and how to step into your power.
All of that allows you to run your life again, rather than allowing your mind to take you places you don’t even want to go.
Journaling has so many mental, emotional, physical and financial benefits, if you know how to use it to your advantage and really dig in.
Creating the life of your dreams begins with the first word in your new journal.

“Rebecca Dickson has created a perfect way to make sure I hit the important points of every day ( I don’t want to give away too much 🙂 ) and allowed plenty of space for me to free-style after each days beautiful prompts. She makes it easy to reflect on the day, plant the seeds for more intentional tomorrows, and commune with our soul. We are all here for a purpose and to be the truest version of ourselves. Too often we get lost in the hustle and bustle and forget that. I didn’t want to live that way anymore, and that’s why I started journaling. I wish the benefits on more women. This is going to be my go-to and heartfelt gift for my girlfriends, without a doubt.”
“The journal is amazing. There is some spectacular guidance at the beginning of the book and plenty of pages to fill in and help you through the journey of finding out what is important to you. Becky also has an amazing course to guide you through the process for those of us who have struggled with journaling in the past.”
“I have had my journal for almost a week now, and I LOVE it. The writing prompts are so helpful to break the ice and help me get into the flow of journaling. Then the blank pages that follow allow me to play with whatever thoughts come up. I like that it is not dated so I don’t feel guilty if I miss a day, or feel like I have to start at a special point in the year. The cover is beautiful, the pages feel good to write on, and they don’t show the writing through to the other side of the page. I also love that the journal is large enough to write and doodle while holding it on my lap.”
