Our hag stones are from the coast of Ireland and are infused with Celtic witchcraft.
Hag stones can often be found along coastal points, beaches and streams. The holes in them are naturally occurring – either as a result from the boring of a bivalve mollusk called a “piddock,” whose shells look like angel wings or from coarse sand or smaller stones repeatedly grinding into a stone’s surface.
The earliest records of hag stones’ archaeological discovery are in Northern German and the Baltic Seas.
They have been used as a divination tool by ancient prophets for new beginnings, goddess connection, cleansing, and protection.
Listing is for one hag stone. Size ranges from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches.
