The Power of the Pen
Most everyone knows the cliche, “The pen is mightier than the sword.” We know the impact of a well-chosen word.
We’re brought up in a culture that reveres writing, that celebrates authors, and that relies on words as one of its primary means of communication.
Yet most of us also resist the act of writing when it comes to using it for introspection.

Why Journal?
“Writing is thinking on paper.” – William Zinsser, American author and journalist
Used effectively, writing in a journal gives you insight into your own thought processes. You begin to see more clearly how you may sabotage yourself or get lost in a tangle of thoughts and feel overwhelmed. Or you may suddenly find your inspiration again, more gasoline for the fire inside you.
Using a journal is an extraordinarily powerful process that shows you with utter clarity how your thoughts can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
Many people I’ve spoken to resist journaling because they believe it slows them down. Which is exactly the point.
Journaling forces you to slow your thinking, pull apart the threads of those thoughts and recognize — sometimes for the first time — how your beliefs do or do not support the goals and dreams you claim are most important in your life.
For most people, this is a revelation.
We tend to walk around every day unaware of what we are thinking and how those thoughts shape our mood, our perception of events, even how we treat other people. We are numb to what we are doing to ourselves, whether in support or detriment.
Journaling, with the intention of revealing and fulfilling your potential and purpose, is irreplaceable. Done effectively, it helps you become self-aware, more insightful, more open to your own wisdom.
Journaling can also rapidly increase your awareness, revealing answers you’ve long looked for but never found.
Most people believe journaling is just recounting daily events, or the random swirl of thoughts and feelings moving through them. There is some value in that. But there’s so much more that can be gained when you journal consistently, and in the way I am about to show you…
I believe all the answers we want are within us. Yes, ALL of them. But you need to know how to access them.
That’s the purpose of this program: to show you how to tap into the full power of YOU, your essence, your purpose, your real potential.
Way Down Deep
In our heads, at any given moment, hundreds or thousands of random thoughts are flying around. They are shallow and deep, unrelated and often conflicting. Whether or not we grab onto one, and which one we choose, is up to us.
But if we are not aware of how the mind works, which thought we grab onto is a random process that may or may not support our goals and dreams.
When we write out those thoughts, on the other hand, we start to separate one from another. Then we get to choose if we want to go deeper with one and explore.
We can track a thought, dig under it, behind it, follow the trail higher and higher, or skip it altogether. But until we do this, we are unable to see how our thoughts and ideas fit together.
Until we explore via a journal, everything appears random and unrelated.
Journaling allows you to discover how your thoughts were formed, when, why and what they’re trying to show you.
Freedom
“Knowing others is intelligence;
knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength;
mastering yourself is true power.”
― Lao Tzu
We will never be free until we wake up to what is running our lives: Our own thoughts.
Journaling gives you that awareness. It is the beginning of true choice and true power.
Without examining your thinking, you are simply reacting to events and circumstances. You’re doing the same thing you have always done, in the same way. And you’re probably wondering why you can’t get the results you want, why nothing seems to change no mater how hard you try.
Thoughts unexamined lead to a life of sleepwalking.
Inside this program, This Is How You Find Her, the Journaling Course, I’m going to share with you ten steps to reveal to yourself what is inside you. You’ll see what you’re made of, why it matters and how to step into your power.
All of that allows you to run your life again, rather than allowing your mind to take you places you don’t even want to go.
This Is How You Find Her, the Journaling Course
In this transformational program, you’ll learn…
How to Tap In
In this lesson, I’ll show you a simple exercise for tapping into your inner guidance, the kind that’s always available from the Universe or God or Spirit. And then we’ll talk about how to take action on whatever you received, to get you closer to your goals.
Leaning into Inspiration
In this lesson, we talk about how to not only step into or generate inspiration, but also how to capture those divine downloads or inspired moments we all experience.
This is a tool that helps you build awareness surrounding feeling inspired, so you can become more creative, tap in and gain clarity on what is trying to come through for you.
Highest and Best
This lesson talks about how to tap into our highest and best vision for our life — and our purpose. It’s designed to help you uncover what you really want, either in life as a whole, or in specific areas.
Vibration and Frequency
This session talks about vibration and being a match for what you want. But also, it’s about how many of us do the internal work, then stop and wait for things to change. And nothing does. Here’s where the rubber meets the road and you understand you have to act, and how to do that on the same frequency as the things you want.
Gratitude
There’s an old adage: “What you focus on expands.” And unfortunately, most of us focus on what’s missing from our lives. The more you focus on lack, the more lack you get.
The solution is to reverse that thinking and consistently pay attention to all the good you have now. Here, we explore a simple tool you can use every day. (I did it myself every day when I started and it changed my life.)
Listen to Your Body
In this lesson, you’ll discover how to listen to your body and release resistance trapped inside you as pain or negative emotion. This is a powerful tool to help you heal physically and emotionally.
Beliefs
This lesson takes a close look at subconscious patterns holding you back. You’ll learn how to identify limiting beliefs and blocks that have been keeping you stuck, then shift and eliminate them.
Get Unstuck
We all experience difficulty or struggle at some point. Most of us see it, react to it, fight it, and therefore get stuck in it. That’s no fun.
In this session, you’ll learn how to take the lesson and ditch the pain. Once you understand what there is to learn, you can move the heck on.
Mash Up
Here, we look at how to combine tools to approach situations or difficulties from different angles. This is excellent when you’re dealing with resistance or feel you lack clarity. In about 15 minutes, you gain a bank of inner knowledge that was just under the surface.
ALL IN
This is a lesson on innovation, creation and inspiration. I’ll share a quick tool for amping up all of those in order to get more out of any area of your life. It gets you moving like nothing else.
Manifesting on paper
Writing is never just writing.
When you think a thought, that’s step one of creation.
When you speak, that’s step two.
When you write it down, that’s step three — the first level of turning your vision into reality.
The process of journaling is about much more than self-awareness. This is a tool that actually helps you reveal your inner wisdom, gain clarity and focus, and bring it into the world.
In This Is How You Find Her, the Journaling Course, you will understand how to do this for yourself, for healing, inspiration, creation and manifesting.
