Description
Saining is a Scottish ritual that is one part blessing, one part cleansing and one part protection. It is also sometimes used in a consecration ritual.
Saining uses juniper and other herbs – either to burn or in oils – to remove the unwanted or even hidden negative influences. It can also be used with other types of spellwork.
Regular saining safeguards your home, spellwork, personal property and your person. A popular custom is to use saining before major life decisions. It allows you to be fully present, without negative influences.
Saining removes curses, hexes or malefic spells of any kind, including unwanted influences.
Note: When you use these products, you are not performing a saining rite. You are simply directing the magic of the saining where it needs to go. The saining was done here, during the 6 weeks it takes to craft these oils.
Saining Kit includes one 4-inch juniper stick and one 1/3 oz bottle of saining oil.
Ingredients: Organic olive oil (for healing, peace and protection), juniper, lavender, heather, rosemary, Scots pine, rowan berries and juniper berries.
Uses: Add to juniper sticks before burning, candles, window sills or doorways, in spells, wear on your wrist or ankle, or mix with local dirt to root yourself in place. This is an excellent oil for grounding.
Burning a juniper stick is a bit like smudging. The oil brings the blessing and protection.
This oil is made in very small batches with the highest concentration of spellwork. It is NOT uncommon to see images or symbols inside the glass jars, presenting as clouds in the oil itself. That is the magic brewing.
