Full Pink Moon Ritual – April 26th
*
Tonight’s Full Moon comes in at 11:32 pm EDT in Scorpio.
Traditionally called the Pink Moon, this full Moon is also the first of two supermoons this year.
And it’s bringing a TON of energy.
This one is no joke, babes.
Anything and everything you’ve been avoiding is coming up. It may feel pretty intense. But the intensity is to serve you.
A supermoon is when the moon is at its closest to Earth. That makes the moon appear bigger and brighter, but also increases its magnetic potency.
Scorpio reveals shadows. This full moon energy shows us our deepest layers and asks us to love them. Everything that lies below our surface is always controlling us, whether we face it or not. So we might as well face it and let the healing begin.
This Moon brings with it the PERFECT time to look at and understand your patterns, triggers, reactions and your greatest potential.
Remember, this is a healing Moon. It’s here to help you.
It’s a powerful time to shift energy and mindsets.
Any emotion you have carries inherent power. Decide how you want to use that power.
- Who would you be if you were unafraid?
- Who would you be if you stopped sabotaging yourself?
- Who would you be if you allowed yourself to soar?
Gratitude and self-love will help you the most as we transition through our shadows.
This full moon highlights:
- Death and rebirth
- Personal transformation
- Self-responsibility
- Releasing unhealthy attachments
- Grounding, stabilizing, connecting to your core, your truthThis night reminds us that light is always available – and most visible in the dark.
Tonight’s ritual included a white candle for divine light, a blue candle for the power and wisdom of the universe, and a red candle to ignite inner passion.
I also burned abundance paper with ritual oils for each candle. you will notice the red candle – PASSION – lasted far longer than the others.
Does that represent your undying passion for life and work? Or does it mean your passion is dying out and it’s time to reignite it?
Since this is a full moon, and it’s in Scorpio, your intention should be to release, release, release everything coming up. I said it before, but it bears repeating: The energy of this full supermoon is not to be taken lightly. You may face some heavy stuff.
It’s safe to let it go. It’s safe to clear it all away.
But once you make all that space, be sure to fill it with what you truly want.
The universe doesn’t tolerate a vacuum. If we don’t fill that space with new, we will default to old patterns.
Below is the tarot card reading, which shows exactly how this plays out.
*
Card 1: Queen of Swords – Independent, unbiased judgement, clear boundaries, direct communication
The Queen of Swords combines the mental clarity and intellectual power of Swords with the maturity and receptiveness of the Queen. You have the gift of being able to use your intellect and unbiased judgement while also remaining flexible and open to receive input from other sources.
As you lead from the head, and not the heart, you are better able to discern situations without the influence of emotion or sentimentality. You may believe that empathy or compassion towards others will distract you from the task at hand. Instead, you prefer to know the how, what, why, where, when and who of everything to help you make sense of your environment and better understand others.
It is not that you do not care about others, but you connect with other people through an intellectual understanding rather than an emotional one.
The Queen of Swords says you are a truth-seeker. You are open to hearing the thoughts and opinions of others, but ultimately, you filter that information to decipher what is true and what is not.
When interacting with others, you will not tolerate falsehoods, exaggerations. You have an innate ability to tell it like it is. You are a quick thinker and highly perceptive, piercing through the noise and confusion to get straight to the point.
There is no beating about the bush. You are upfront and honest and you expect the same from others. For this reason, many people respect your opinion and come to you for advice when they need clarity.
As a determined, independent and resilient person, you have established clear boundaries, and you are quick to call out someone who crosses them. People do not mess with you, not because you threaten them or inflict violence, but because you set expectations up front about how you want to be treated.
Some people might be intimidated by you, but once they get past your tough exterior and develop a sense of trust and respect, they see your softer side.
Card 2: Five of Wands – Conflict, disagreements, competition, tension, diversity
Fives of any suit typically represent conflict and change. The Five of Wands is no exception.
This card indicates you are in the midst of battle or tension. Competition with others is impacting your ability to move forward with your goals. Rather than being able to work towards a common goal, you are running up against constant opposition.
With the Five of Wands, everyone is fighting to be heard. But no one is listening.
When everybody has a different opinion, but no one is stopping to hear each other out, conflict and misunderstandings will run rampant. If you find yourself in this situation, see it as an opportunity to rise above the chaos and disorder.
The key is to tune in to one another and allow each person to make their case. And perhaps, in the process, their opinions may become softer and quieter. They may also give you the respect you’re seeking and listen to your viewpoint.
The Five of Wands also encourages an enthusiastic approach to change.
Transition (or even transformation) is coming whether or not you like it. Your challenge will be in ensuring that everyone is on the same page and dealing with this shift constructively and positively.
Currently, your energy is scattered. Your role may be in identifying a clear strategy and purpose that can be implemented.
Card 3: Four of Wands – Celebration, joy, harmony, relaxation, homecoming
The Four of Wands is a card of celebration, happiness and appreciation for the good things in life.
When this card appears in a reading, it is time to relax.
This card can show you are returning home or to the people and places familiar to you. You feel supported and secure, knowing you are with those who love you and care about you.
The Four of Wands tells you that after a period of rapid growth and expansion (the energy of the Three of Wands), it’s now time to pause and celebrate what you have achieved so far.
Step back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Acknowledge your hard work and give yourself permission to take a break before embarking on the next phase. It’s essential you observe these smaller milestones.
In numerology, four symbolizes stability and firm foundations. With the Four of Wands, you are now enjoying a period of happiness and security. This card indicates a sense of harmony and balance as well as completion and thus denotes a time of peace and contentment.
Summary
Clear boundaries and direct communication can help you surpass your fear of conflict or disagreement and accomplish your goals.
Your fear of what might happen is preventing anything from happening.
Scorpio Full Moon means LET THAT SHIT GO.
