Full Wolf Moon Ritual – Jan. 28th

The Full Wolf Moon is the first full moon of 2021.

It came in today at 2:18 pm EST, and brought excellent lunar energy for spells regarding strength, love and protection.

This moon is always a time of great power and intention. Hint: Set your intentions and mean it.

I pulled some cards from my Moon Deck earlier this afternoon. You will see that spread and some screenshots of a healing moon bath recommended.

Tonight, I did a separate ritual to invoke and honor Hecate, an ancient Greek goddess of witchcraft and sorcery, life and death, herbalism and mysteries, and more.

Hecate is goddess of the threshold, the guardian of doors and portals, the gatekeeper between human and spiritual worlds.

She’s found at the crossroads, at the doorways of homes, and at the gates of the cemetery. She is a deity who presides over death and the dead, but she is also a goddess of childbirth and life.

As a triple goddess, her domain is the life/death/rebirth cycle. She is often depicted in a triple goddess form: as three women looking in different directions or as a three-headed canine.

Many say Hecate is a dark goddess. But people forget she helps heal women in need of reproductive healing and aids in the birthing process. She’s as much LIGHT as she is DARK.

She encompasses all of these things. She is the polarity.

Her sacred number is thirteen. If you want to honor her, one of the simplest ways is to perform a ritual in thirteen steps. Offer thirteen flowers to her. Give elaborate offerings or do a ritual on the thirteenth of each month in her name. Or say your prayers thirteen times.

Tonight’s full wolf mean energy is about strength and protection, just like Hecate.

The black candles in the image below represent the crossroads. Black and white candles, black and white altar cloth, black and white sand and black and white crystals all represent her polarity and power in both worlds.

Don’t waste tonight’s energy. Harness it for good.

Charge your crystals, set out water and craft your intentions.

You will see below that the reading confirmed exactly what I asked for support with: Help us see how powerful we are. Remind us of our intuition and sacred knowledge. Support us as we begin new projects and execute new ideas.

Every card in the reading also served as a reminder that you have what you need inside you right now and you are on the right track.

Tarot Reading

*

1 – Three of Pentacles – Teamwork, collaboration, learning, implementation

When the Three of Pentacles turns up in a reading, take it as a sign to collaborate with others to achieve big results.

The Three of Pentacles represents the value of different ideas and levels of experience in collaboration. There is no us versus them. Everyone works together to get the job done collectively.

The Three of Pentacles says you know what you want to create. You’ve laid out the plans, gathered your resources (money, people and time), and set to work – you may have already reached your first significant milestone. But you’re nowhere near the finish line just yet.

As you implement your plans, you will realize that you have the skills, capabilities and resources you need to accomplish whatever you’re after.

See the Three of Pentacles as an encouragement that you are on the right track. You know what you’re doing. Leave the self-doubt behind and dive in.

2 – The High Priestess – Intuition, sacred knowledge, divine feminine, the subconscious mind

The High Priestess is the guardian of the subconscious mind, and the teacher of sacred knowledge and hidden mysteries. She has an innate ability to travel between these realms effortlessly (as does Hecate).

She teaches you that the world is not always as it seems. She ushers you through the thin veil of awareness, offering you a deep, intuitive understanding of the Universe and a heightened awareness of secret or hidden information.

This card signifies spiritual enlightenment, inner illumination, divine knowledge and wisdom. She shows up in readings when the veil between you and the underworld is thin, and you have the opportunity to access the knowledge deep within your soul.

Now is the time to be still so you can tune in to your intuition. The answers you are seeking will come from within, from your deepest truth and knowing. Connect with your intuition and your Higher Self through meditation or visualization.

This card means the knowledge you seek will not come from an external source. Go within. Your intuition is at an all-time high.

Lastly, the High Priestess is a sign you are being called to embrace the Divine Feminine – your connection to your intuition, compassion, empathy, and inner wisdom. This card says your sacred feminine needs your attention right now.

Feel, rather than think. Collaborate, rather than compete. Create, rather than destroy. Trust your Divine Feminine energy, even if the masculine energy around you may appear to be stronger. Be proud of your ability to nurture, trust, sense, and empathise instead of hiding it away.

3 – Ace of Wands – Inspiration, new opportunities, growth, potential

This card is PURE POTENTIAL. Ideas are flowing to you, motivating and inspiring you. You are open to receiving new opportunities and an entire new world of possibility is available to you.

This card encourages you to follow your heart and live your passion. If you feel a strong pull towards a new project or path, GO FOR IT. You can start small, treating the project or idea as an experiment or trial. Then, if it feels good, keep doing it. And if it doesn’t, make adjustments and try again.

Let your energy, dedication and motivation be your guides.

If you have been looking for a sign about whether this is the right project, then the Ace of Wands is a clear YES. This idea has the potential to turn into something fulfilling and energizing.

The Ace of Wands wants you to listen to your instincts and follow your gut.

The opportunity shows great promise, but it will be up to you to maximize it for the long-term. See this card as the spark needed to fuel a massive fire.

The Ace of Wands may also appear when you have an opportunity to grow on a personal or spiritual level.
