Full Hunter Moon Ritual – October 20

October’s Full Moon in Aries reached its peak today at 10:57 a.m. EDT.

This month, the moon is in Aries, bringing FIRE and a great opportunity to release rapidly.

I chose a cord-cutting ceremony specifically for that reason.

This full moon says it’s time to let go so you can grow. Holding on will only keep you stagnant and you will be resisting the flow of life.

Shifts are happening. Consider this spring cleaning for your soul and LET GO.

The candles in this ritual were surrounded with the following herb mixture, including sea salt collected locally from the Atlantic Ocean.

  • Juniper – increases awareness of self, courage and inner strength
  • Lavender – brings calm and peace
  • Yarrow – cuts ties and helps support you in setting boundaries
  • Rose – for nourishment of the heart
  • Hyssop – for purification
  • Rue – to break all hexes and curses that may be present
  • Holy basil – to release stuck emotions and negative emotions

A mantra:

Thank you for the lessons learned. I now release the ties that bind. I now claim that which is mine. Blessed be, and so it is.

Close your eyes and visualize your energy being returned to you, and breaking the connection to all that holds you back.

The universe has a gorgeous plan for you. Do you trust it?

What are you ready to release?

What are you ready to call in?

Tonight, I asked the cards to reveal to us what we needed to remember at this time of rapid release.

Card #1 – Two of Cups – Unified love, partnership, mutual attraction

The Two of Cups is the flow of love between two people. With this card, you are creating deep connections and partnerships, based on shared values, compassion, and unconditional love.

While these relationships are still in the early stages, they have the potential to grow and develop into something deeply fulfilling and rewarding in the long-term. You have mutual respect and appreciation for one another, and together you reach higher planes of consciousness and understanding.

When this card appears in a reading, you may enter a new partnership, perhaps with a lover, friend or business partner. You are both focused on creating a relationship that is mutually beneficial, one that will create a win-win situation for both parties.

In a romantic relationship, the Two of Cups shows a blossoming new union based on mutual attraction. There is both a physical and soul connection that leaves you giddy and weak at the knees. You bring out the best in each other and lift each other to even higher levels of potential.

The exchange of emotion is heartfelt, and you are both willing to do whatever it takes to support one another. In some cases, the Two of Cups can refer to a marriage, proposal or engagement.

In a business partnership, the Two of Cups is a sign you are both on the same wavelength and share a similar vision. You may not have the same skills, but you create a beautiful synergy when you work together.

A partnership like this – built on trust, harmony, and mutual respect – is likely to succeed so long as you continue to communicate with one another and focus on your shared alignment.

Summary: Though we may be letting go with speed, it is only to make room for what is in alignment, closer to our heart and our mission.
